Why choose an Eggbutt snaffle for your horse?
The Applea-Teque Eggbutt snaffle is a happy mouth style bit with a warm, apple flavoured and durable plastic covering which is kind to the horse’s mouth. A double jointed mouth piece eases pressure on the bars and helps to reduce the nutcracker action of a single jointed bit. Lozenges are very good for horses with a low palate confirmation as they are fairly unobtrusive in the horse’s mouth and help create an even pressure across the tongue.

Eggbutt cheeks are ideal for novice riders or sensitive horses as they reduce the amount of vibrations that transfer down the reins to the horse's mouth. Our unique Apple-Teque covering is made from durable plastic which is soft yet durable and is apple flavoured to help the horse easily accept the bit.
